Refine your Craft // Trail beer refinery

The Trail Beer Refinery has quickly become the most prominent business in the community of Trail, and one of the most in the entire Kootenays, due to it’s trendy and fun vibe, killer menu, prominent beer selection, and awesome owner/operators. When the Craft Brews of the Columbia Basin Film Competition announced their 2nd annual beer film competition we were excited for the opportunity to select Trail Beer Refinery for our choice for this years competition. Below are some BTS photos and we’re sure you’ll understand our slogan once you see the spot.

We have been very fortunate to have been able to work with local Nelson breweries in the past such as Nelson Brewing Company in the #OurPintOurPeople campaign, and Backroads and Torchlight through our photography journey with The Adventure Hotel and New Grand Liquor Merchants. We’ve been able to meet some awesome local business people, during our time spent in the beer scene, who are passionate about pushing their businesses as well as pushing the community of Nelson to new heights. We are always thankful for the relationships we’ve created in the Nelson craft beer scene however we thought this film competition would give us an opportunity to expand our network and work with a brand that has a different vision then any of the brands we’ve previously worked with.

The premiere of our short 1 minute film for the Trail Beer Refinery will be at the Civic Theatre on Saturday, September 22nd, 2018 at the Craft Brews of the Columbia Basin Film Competition, along with 23 other films (2 for each brewery and 12 breweries total). Doors open at 9 and there will be voting both at the Civic Theatre and online. Beer will be available and good times sure to be had. We can’t wait to get out and watch what some other local film makers have put together and we wish everyone good luck in the competition.

Follow us on Facebook and Instagram for our official online release this coming Sunday at 8pm PST. And make sure you check out some other videos and vote for your favorites to win cash!

We are thankful for the Civic Theatre and the Columbia Basin for putting on this competition and are super happy to be a part of the ever growing media/film scene in the Kootenay area!
