Over the course of the next 6 months the team here at Tamarack has decided to focus our internal efforts on creating a series of ads to increase our brand awareness and to show our audience how marketing can have a positive ROI. We've chosen to focus on the topic of brand awareness to start simply because we are a relatively new business and we want people to know who we are and what services we offer. As many of you may or may not know, in todays world of digital marketing and digital advertising, there are three categories that simply lay out the customer buying cycle:
1. Awareness - Are people aware of your brand and what products/services you offer?
2. Consideration - Now that people know who you are, do you have something that they want or need? What are the benefits of spending with you over the next business or brand?
3. Purchase - The customer has found what they want from you and has decided to make a purchase.
Within each stage there are many factors that can influence each outcome. People in todays world are so bombarded with information and advertising that in order to stay ahead of the curve and have the money your spending on marketing have a positive ROI, you need to have a marketing strategy, it needs to stay fresh (creative and current), and your team must be willing to fail and re-evaluate in order to reach more potential customers. The tools and information are more easily accessible then ever before especially for small/medium sized businesses to have their limited marketing dollars create an ROI. But it comes down to effectively putting a plan together, sticking to that plan, re-evaluating and then sticking to this cyclical process.
This ad is part 1/6 of our ad series and will be featured in the digital realm as well as in the Kootenay Mountain Culture Magazine.
