Absolute Contracting
Brand Identity, Website, Production
From The Ground Up
Since 2007, Absolute Contracting has built its name in Revelstoke, BC on high-end custom homes and hands-on craftsmanship. But underneath that reputation, the company had quietly built something bigger: a full construction management operation. An in-house civil division and company-owned tower cranes and scaffolding systems gave it real physical capability. On top of that sat the kind of deep pre-construction services — value engineering, constructability review, cost planning, procurement strategy — that regional players like Chandos, Greyback, and EllisDon compete on at scale.

The Blueprint Didn’t Match The Build
As Absolute set its sights on larger industrial, commercial, and institutional (ICI) work, that gap became a real business problem. The developers, architects, and municipal decision-makers who shortlist a $20M+ project aren't touring the jobsite first — they're forming an impression from a website, a proposal, a LinkedIn post. If that impression still says "custom home builder," Absolute never gets in the room.
The company didn't need to become more capable. It needed a brand that told the truth about the capability that already existed.
Building the Brand, From the Ground Up
Tamarack took Absolute through our full branding process — strategy first, then a coordinated rollout across every touchpoint that shapes how the company is seen. That included a refreshed visual identity, a new website built around Absolute's construction management positioning, an organic social media strategy, branded video production, and a coffee table book showcasing completed work.
The new identity was built to hold up in the places that matter most to Absolute's audience — hard hats, hoarding, site signage, proposal decks — not just a homepage. The palette and mark were pulled from the same materials and terrain the company builds in and around, keeping the brand rooted in Revelstoke even as its ambitions grow past it.

The Next Phase
A rebrand is only as good as the places it shows up. Tamarack gave Absolute the assets to put the new positioning everywhere decisions get made. For social, that meant a hero video and a library of supporting assets, including founder and team interviews, ready to roll out across Absolute's channels. For the digital front door, a new website that traffic is already starting to find. And for the in-person moments that close the deal, a coffee table book with the same weight and finish as the projects it showcases. A brand built from the ground up, now ready to launch.
